How Do You Feel?

Sometimes we are happy, sometimes we are sad, and sometimes we are sick. Remember a time that you felt sick. Describe how you felt. What hurt? What did you do to feel better?

In August I felt sick. My ears hurt. My head hurt. I had a fever. I had a cough. I went to the doctor and the doctor gave me medicine.

Who are you? One way to answer this question is describing how you look. Let's practice our describing words and describe ourselves. Here's mine:

Tell me who you are by describing how you look. Remember to add your name at the beginning or end of your writing.

Foods I Like

In December we talked about foods we like. I like oranges, spaghetti, Subway sandwiches, pizza and cookies. Oranges are my favorite! They are yummy. I HATE tuna fish and cottage cheese.

Write about foods that you like and dislike (even hate). Remember to write your first name at the beginning or end. If you need help look at page 154 of your book.

Technology is Good.

Technology helps us do many things. We can talk on a cell phone, take a picture with a camera, listen to music on a music player, watch movies with a DVD player and television. What can YOU do with technology? If you need some help, look at pages 188 and 189 in your book for ideas. Remember to start your sentence with "I can"

Mrs. Bueso is starting a new way for you to answer questions and practice writing in English. Everything you write here is public - anyone can see it. You can write from school, from home, from the library, any place there is a computer and internet access.
